So to put it bluntly 2010 sucked... HARD!!!! I though 2009 was kinda rough, but 2010 kicked my ass(sorry it's true). I am positive that 2011 WILL be better, I'm going to do everything in my power to make it so!!!(Is that enough exclamation marks? Do you get my point??)

I am done feeling sorry for myself. I have a fabulous husband and a darling daughter. I have amazing friends old and new. Kar it has been a high point of my year getting to know you(again)!!!

So cheers my friends let's say goodbye to 2010 and Hello 2011!!

Merry Christmas!

So I haven't blogged in forever.. I hate the way the pics look of my jewelry so until I resolve that issue, no more pictures of my jewelry. :( I think I am going to use this blog for other things besides crafts. How do we feel about that? Yes? Me too!!! I hope you all have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!

It's Black, It's White...

We are getting family pics done soon and I decided I needed some new jewelry for myself... This is what happened next

I taught myself some new techniques tonight, I am just having the best time making all this stuff. The whole selling it and making side money has been AWESOME as well! Love it!!

Some Gray Cuteness for my mom!

My mom needed some gray stuff.. so I got busy!

Loving the Eiffel Tower charm... hating the camera(do I sound like a broken record yet?)

Rah Rah RAH!!!!!

I got some of the cutest cheerleader charms at the bead show at Sherrysbeadsandjewelry.com

So I made this cute bracelet for Em!!

This camera situation is driving me crazy, even with a good camera I am having a hard time getting my jewelry to photograph right... Anyone got any tips?

Just a little bit of randomness!

So about five years ago I was at a fabric store with my mom and I saw this halloween fabric that I loved. I couldn't afford to buy any at the time, and every halloween since I have thought about it. Well a couple weeks ago I was at a fabric store in Ogden and I was browsing and guess what I found? Yup the exact same fabric... It was 9.61 a yard but I wasn't gonna leave it this time so I bought 2 yards. I haven't decided what I am going to make out of it yet... Anyone got any ideas?
I mean seriously how cute is it? Also check the blurry Foxy in the bottom of the pic, that is where she spends most of her time when I am crafting!
Also I made this today...
Isn't it cute?

More Jewelry

I think I may have figured out how to make some of the pictures bigger!!! The quality still leaves a lot to be desired... But here are a few more things for your viewing pleasure.
Earrings for my Mom.

Made these as a gift.

This is the famously annoying bracelet I made 6 different times. I am happy I did because it is a favorite and I may have to steal it back from my mom!!!

Jewelry

Ok so I know I don't blog very much, but I am seriously trying to get better!! As some of you know I have been making jewelry all summer. It all started out when my Mom had some stuff break and was paying someone waaayyy too much to fix them. And then I started fixing all the stuff she didn't like about the stuff she had bought from other people. And so the jewelry bug began!!

Before you look at the pics, a short apology about the quality of the photos. I HATE my camera, so these were all taken with my camera phone, and I haven't quite figured out how to manipulate everything yet!

I have had so much fun making things. Let me know what you think!!!

First one I ever made for myself!!

One of my absolute favorites... It's NOT for sale, but I'll make you one of your own!

Another one that was purchased off my wrist!

A pretty turquoise one for my mom.

Just a bunch of randomness!!!

Rainbow fish for my Mom!

Made this one for myself, but my mom bought it off my wrist! That's always fun when that happens!!

For my Auntie!

Some earring I sold. The pic isn't very good, but they turned out beautiful!

I wear this one almost every day!

I made this for a friend that can't wear very much metal.

I helped a friend make this one for her sister.

I'm 30!!!!!!

So the big scary 3-0 is upon me. And you know what? I am not even a little bit bothered by it. I realized today that the credit for that should go to my mom, she never cared about her age or what people thought of her. I am so glad I had such a strong, opinionated, LOUD mom. As an adult I think I appreciate it even more. She is my best friend and I couldn't ask for a better mother I am so glad she is mine!!

This isn't the best pic of us, but I couldn't find another one. And look at that crafty cake!!
P.S. I also have the best dad in the world!! Still calls me princess even though I'm 30!!! So bring it on 30's I can handle it I have the best teachers!!!!

Frustration...

So I just made the same watch 3 times and everytime I put it on it kept breaking, finally figured out one of the glass beads had a jagged edge and kept cutting the cord. Even know that I know the problem I need to set it aside because I am frustrated with it. Does this ever happen to you?

Hairbows!!

I could never find Hairbows for Lily so I decided to take matters into my own hands. I got on youtube and all the crafty blogs and this is what happened next...

So do you think I went a little overboard?
